Angola’s Dane Lantz Named ANEC Boys Basketball Performer of the Week

Angola’s Dane Lantz named ANEC Boys’ Basketball Performer of the Week (Week of Dec. 16). 1,028 votes were submitted via Google Forms and 526 of them went to Lantz after he had 23 points in a dramatic 48-47 win over Fremont.

This week’s runner up went to Eastside’s Clayton Minnick with 166 votes after he had 21 points and 4 3’s in a 56-38 win over Lakewood Park. Here are the rest of the results:

Mason Treesh East Noble 17 points in a 59-56 win over Columbia City. 163 votes. Ashton Federspiel Norwell 28 points in a 57-41 win over DeKalb. 54 votes.

Kyler Krull Whitko 27 points, 6 boards, and 4 assists in a 54-27 win over Lewis Cass. 39 votes. Nate Keil Lakeland 16 points in a 72-38 win over Eastside. 21 votes.

Jackson McGee Leo 20 points, 5 boards, and 2 assists in a 61-55 win over Northrop, 27 points, 3 boards, and 2 assists in a 69-65 win over Huntington North, and 19 points, and 10 boards in a 59-52 win over Snider. 18 votes. Isaac Schultz Adams Central 27 points in a 78-54 win over Canterbury, and 29 points in a 77-70 win over Woodlan. 18 votes.

Jack Scheumann Bellmont 21 points in a 62-47 win over New Haven. This was Bellmont’s first win at New Haven since 2005. 13 votes. Mitchell Miller Fairfield 21 points in a 66-51 win over Jimtown. 10 votes.
